Anyone who has used Photoshop, Illustrator, and worked for a demanding client will instantly relate to these comical S$7 (US$5) Adobe-inspired keychains handmade by Singapore-based computer games graphics artist Yu Xin.

The designs, which are sold through her online shop under the moniker ‘Tea and Buns’, gained significant traction after being shared online by Geek Culture.

The idea for the accessories came to mind after Yu Xin was tasked with making significant revisions to a particular design project, which she worked on for nearly a year.

As a means of venting these frustrations from her day job, Yu Xin took to channeling her annoyances in an initial batch of 10 pieces for each design that were taken up by friends and colleagues.

The ‘Artist Meme Series’ that now comprises about 10 different designs seems to have resonated with many in the creative community, particularly those inspired by Photoshop and Illustrator, where the latter comes with the amusing file name “finalfinalfinalfuckyoufinalplssss3_21.ai.” She even has the classic “Graphic Design Is My Passion,” intentionally designed in a hideous aesthetic.

Yu Xin is now busy clearing preorders, which she works on outside of her day job. You can browse through more of her designs online.
